Rubber Square for Tableware

Problem- wicker trunk on the deck. Broken and aged. I had a cushion on it but every time I want to use it for drinks/food I have to move that and cups would not sit evenly. So trying to find an alternative that was child safe and outdoor tolerant.
Found these rubber mats at Lowe's. Rubberific Brown Rubber Square Patio Stone (Common: 16-in x 16-in; Actual: 16-in x 16-in) Item #: 381007 | Model #: LPVBN. Mine were $4.73 each (Lowe's card 5% discount)
Primed them with this spray (available at Home Depot but not Lowe's)
Painted them both with Annie Sloan Chalk Paint Old Ochre. Let dry.
Stenciled with various stencils I have using Annie Sloan Chalk Paint (ASCP) graphite (a charcoal color, soft black). Let dry.
Sprayed with sealant (mine is under a covered area) you may need to use a different one. I'll see how it holds up over the summer.
Finished product. Problem solved. Check out FB page:

thanks for looking! I'm loving seeing all the things you do.
