Chair Makeover

I bought 2 of these chairs from a theatre company. They were dirty, faded and the seat sagged. Sold one as is for $50 making mine very affordable. Bought the fabric on sale and had the paint on hand.
Original chair. I liked the fabric but it was very dirty and did not match my living room.
I removed all the fabric on the front, back and seat. I removed the staples and was careful not to damage the fabric. I needed it as a template for the new covers. The webbing was sagged and was thereforel removed and replaced.
New webbing installed. I added an extra row and my husband had to help me here. One of us pulled and held tight while the other one stapled it in place.
New thicker foam was cut using the existing foam as a template.
Gave the arms and legs a fresh coat of semi gloss black paint after I had removed the fabric and the foam.
I had a wooden stool kicking around so I painted it black as well and covered it. Reupholstered the chair in order to sell it but it fits so well in the living room that it has become my favorite place to sit and read.
