Flea Market Finds - My Best Kept Decorating Secret

I am crazy about the flea market. Many times when I tell friends and clients that I love to shop there, they say "Really, you find stuff there"? I do find fabulous things! Below are just a few of my favorites!
The vendor turned an old chest into a coffee table. It is now my coffee table! I love it!
This is an old cable spool that I converted into an ottoman. I made a round pillow for the top, and for $25, I have a pretty cool ottoman for our bonus room.
One of my clients has a cabin. I found this seriously awesome bench at the flea market. I purchased real cow hide (yes, they sell that at the flea market), and covered the bench. Next, I painted the bench blue to make it stand out against the dark wood.
This headboard used to be an old door. My handy husband framed it with wood molding to convert it into a headboard! A $20 find!
How about hanging an old stained-glass window in your home? My client had two openings between her kitchen and living area. Two beautiful stained-glass windows were hung from eye hooks. The light coming through these windows is beautiful.

Love the trunk coffee table. Wish picture showed more of it.

Like you, I get my inspiration from the flea markets and junk stores. I found an old Apple crate from the local orchard and made a footstool for my sister.
