Wooden Swing Makeover

This wooden swing needed an update for two reason first being I had tiny amounts of paint left in my paint bottles which is so annoying because you don't want to throw them out since you know they still have the good stuff left but then again its such a little amount that you can't really do much with it. Those were my first reasons.
The next reason was that this wooden swing that my parents have had for a very very long time was begging to be brightened up!

This is how the swing looked before
When my family first got this swing we were in LOVE. But that love kinda just mellowed down over the years and a change is always good Right? so this fella needed a lil transformation.
Don't get me wrong the workmanship on this swing was beautiful but it just needed a little enhancement since you couldn't really see all of its beauty with it being all one color.
Until of course you really really focused on it.

And I wanted it to be like a WOAH statement piece the minute you walk in the room.
So basically these little babies were all used up on my swing.

This is a collection of all sorts of American DecoArt Paints mostly there Gloss Enamels line. I had an array of color from shades of blues to pinks.
And this is how the beauty looks now.

More After shots are up on the blog :)

What do you guys think?

I am completely in love with how it turned out.

The swing is amazing. Do you happen to know its history? Would love to know who made and where and when. Thanks!

@Sarah Hi, I love this swing as well and even more now with it being so bright and cheery. This swing was made in Pakistan a lot of details and beautiful craftsmanship went into it.
