Table Redo/refinish With DIY Stain

I found this table on Kijiji (love that site!!!) for $60 I seen that it was up for a bit so I asked if she would accept $40 instead. That's what I had budgeted for a table, yes I'm cheap. I also wanted something wood, preferably Oak, so I scored on this deal. I knew from the second I seen it in its golden hue that I will end up redoing it. Plus I figured hey why not come back with a nice big piece.
I also found 4 chairs on Kijiji for $20, I will be recovering those in another post this summer.
