How to Make Drawer Organizers With Upcycled Boxes

Is Organization usually something you don't want to deal with? It is for me many times but I realize that sometimes it can be fun.

Decorated shoe boxes, cereal boxes, or even electronic boxes make perfect drawer organizers. Contact paper, scrap paper... Just take a look around you and you will see what you can reuse, repurpose, and upcycle!

When you have a specific place for each thing or group of similar things, it is easy to keep the organization. I love to have things handy and when I get that level of organization I usually keep it.

I used to just toss everything and anything into my desk drawers turning them into my personal junk drawer. I could never find a thing in there and sometimes I bought things I already had but didn't remember.

I completely forgot to take a "before" photo icon . But looking at everything I have in there, you can imagine the mess!

So I started to get creative finding ways to make the organization process less intimidating and more fun.

Upcycling boxes for instance is a great way. You can have fun decorating, wrapping and you are also helping the planet.

So what I did was collect a bunch of boxes that otherwise would end up in the trash. Once I had enough I got to work.

To start the organizers I cut all the boxes to the height of the drawer.

I covered them with cute contact papers I had around.

And protected the bottom base of the boxes with felt, to avoid scratching both the box and the items I put in.

Lastly, I organized all my stuff inside my drawer, and Oh my! what a difference!

I also used a plastic container for smaller items.

Everything is organized now!
