Use a large plant pot upside down. stick a Larger Plant Saucer to to bottom so it will hold water. Use waterproof glue or sealant.

Planter saucers but not pots. If it is to be a birdbath, they need room to splash around. It is not a bathtub they soak in. Find a stable base and add water only a inch or so. Use one that is porcelain coated. Clay will form algae too quickly. Remember to EMPTY every other day as bird baths are mosquito breeding places.
