Ruffle Valance With Tie Backs

Valances are such an easy way to update a window. You don't have to worry about the being on the floor and kids pulling on them all.the.time. Ok maybe that only happens at my house?! But sometimes valances can be Pretty.Boring. So here is one way that you can simply update a valance.
The valance I used is a ruffle valance in pansy pink. All I did was take 2 long pieces of ribbon, about 2.5 times longer than you the height of your valance. Then go all the way around the valance pulling the valance up in a little swoop. Tie a pretty bow and you're good to go with an update valane look
Doesn't it make a huge difference adding the tie backs?
