DIY Spiderweb Decoration
This has to be my absolute favorite Halloween project this year and I wish I would've made this sooner so I could enjoy it longer! This is what happens when you mix your love for tassels with Halloween... something beautiful happens!
I used white and off-white yarn for this project, along with white tissue paper and tulle.
Make lots of tassels with the yarn, tulle and tissue paper.
I found these glittery spiderwebs last year and they were perfect for this project. I hung two over my fireplace and overlapped them a bit.
I hung long pieces of yarn across the webs. I used chunky chenille and a braided piece. I just tucked them behind pieces of the web, but you can tie them on if you want.
Start tying on the tassels!
Continue adding tassels and pieces of yarn until you are happy with how your spiderweb looks.
I love all the different textures in this and also the different shades of color.
I thought about adding spiders, but I also like it just like this. I can imagine spiders sneaking into my house at quietly throwing this together before sneaking out again.
I love how this turned out... there is always something beautiful about a spider's web and this DIY web is no different.
I had everything I needed to make this, but you can find everything you'll need for this project at most craft stores.

Frequently asked questions
Have a question about this project?
What are the tassels supposed to be hanging on the web?
The spider web in your supply list doesn’t look like the one you used in your project. Can you tell me where you got that one? I like it and I want to get a couple to put on my Christmas tree instead of garland.
