1. Set Up the Arch Frame

Start by grabbing your two broomsticks and a plastic hose.

Place the broomsticks on either side of your sidewalk where you want to create the arch.

Hammer the broomsticks into the ground to secure them in place.

2. Add the Hose to Shape the Arch

Next, take your hose and attach one end to one of the broomsticks.

Run the hose over the sidewalk and secure the other end to the second broomstick. The hose will form the shape of your arch.

Make sure the hose is stretched tightly and forms a smooth curve over the sidewalk.

3. Wrap the Arch with Green Garland

To hide the hose and give your arch a more festive look, wrap a strand of green dollar store garland around the hose.

Make sure the garland covers the entire arch, giving it a fuller appearance.

4. Add Light-Up Garland

Now it’s time for some sparkle! Take your light-up garland and carefully drape it over the garland-covered arch.

Secure it in place by twisting the garland branches at the back, just like you would use a twist tie.

This will ensure the lights stay in place and add a warm, festive glow to your arch.

Nice idea but you should have covered right to the ground, especially that the extra lights are laying on the ground to finish it off...it looks like a good idea though.
