Fall Lantern Centerpiece

Hi Hometalk Friends! Today I'm sharing my Fall dining table centerpiece that I made from a lantern.
Would you believe that lantern once looked like this??
I almost threw it away! Now it has a whole new life! I did spray paint it once to go with my Summer porch, but it got another paint job in Rustoleum's heirloom white for this centerpiece.

Making this was pretty simple. I found all of my floral stems at Michaels. Here's everything I used:
I started by adding a layer of floral foam to the bottom. Then I hot glued moss to the top to hide the green.
I cut apart the feathery stems...
and added them evenly into the foam:
I did the same with the white flowers...
and the green ones...
Adding the gold pumpkin, also from Michaels, finishes it off:
I loved it as is, but remembered this stand made from thrift store parts that I salvaged for last year's Fall centerpiece, and thought it would look great paired with this as well!
Hope you enjoyed this fun Fall décor post! See more pictures and details at the link below! :)
