Chalk Painted Pumpkins

Hey Y'all! I have a little problem with chalk paint. If something is sitting still too long, it gets painted. :) These pumpkins are my latest victim.
There were all sorts of 'blingy' pumpkins at the craft store the other day (and they were all on sale). I walked right past them to these paper mache pumpkins and starting getting the itch to chalk paint.
If you haven't worked with chalk paint before, I will warn you--It is fun! This paint goes on easily and dries fast. It has a matte finish and gives a worn, aged texture to your project.
I honestly love the aged character that these pumpkins have over the blinged out stuff at the store. Don't get me wrong, bling is good at times. I just happen to like the old world look more.
Want more chalk painted projects? I happen to post about it quite regularly at McCall Manor! Stop by for a visit and say Hi! I would love to hear about your adventures in chalk painting!
