I really liked candy corn when I was younger and are a staple of Halloween. As an adult, I'm not a fan of the super sweetness, but found a great way to incorporate candy corn into my Holiday as door decor.
Halloween Candy Corn Door Decor. A great way to have your sweets this Halloween
Materials: Ribbon, glue, foam board, scissors, Rick Rack or feather boa.
Make ribbon roses to fill in the colors of the candy corn. The full tutorial is on www.HandPArtistry.com . You can also use silk flowers.
Glue the center of the roses to add security to the rose.
Arrange the roses before gluing to make sure you have the best coverage.
Glue in place and let the glue set up for a few minutes then glue the trim.
I used a feather boa for my trim and it worked wonderfully. Glue a few inches at a time and be careful not to glue your fingers.
Add a loop of rick rack to the top of the Decoration to Hang on the door. You can also add a strip of ribbon along the back edges to leave a clean back to the door hanger as well. Check out the full Tutorial on www.HandPArtistry.com
