My love for creating new things with thrift store baskets has grown! Come see how I added these $2 paper plate holders from the thrift store to our fall front porch!
Yup, all these for $2. I'll take them!
I grabbed these letters from the Dollar Tree and taped them to the middle of plate holder.
I gave them a nice coat of gray spray paint and added touches of black heavy around the letters and lighter on the edges. Once dried, I removed the letters.
I grabbed a 2x4 from Home Depot and strayed it to match the plate holders.
Finally, I stapled the plate holders onto the 2x4, covering the staples with more black paint.
This years fall porch, I only wanted black, orange and white. I really like how it turned out!

So smart, the whole spray around/over letters thing!!! Oh so proud of you and so happy for me. I’ve been trying to figure out some things with letters and look at you... my answer to a prayer. Your idea, fantastic. Your porch, beautiful and fun.
Thank you for sharing and inspiring.
