Easy and Fun Holiday decor, using recycled glass bottles and Unicorn SPiT !
If you are anything like me; a glass of wine at the end of the day makes the pain and anxiety simply go away ! But.....oh, yeah..the empties need to be recycled !! With the holidays quickly sneaking in, maybe those empty bottles can serve a higher purpose !
Unicorn SPiT....not just for furniture !!! A vibrant collection of non-toxic, jasmine scented gel stains, also make fantastic rainbow colored glaze.
A quick spray with metallic spray paint gives the Unicorn SPiT a great surface to adhere to.....of course, the labels are removed, and the bottles cleaned and dried well.
Good News !! You don't have to worry about perfectly even coverage; so in 15 seconds, you are on your way to amazing art ! Allow the spray paint to dry thoroughly please.
Using a syringe, I sort of "dribbled" the Unicorn SPiT from the top of the bottle, and let it run down in any direction it happened to choose. If the SPiT is a bit thick, a light spray of water will help it along.
Then, a piece of a plastic bag is pressed lightly over the Unicorn SPiT, and ripped away like a band-aid !!! the colors meld together without making a muddy mess !!! I think it's because they all start out with their own unique personalities....and reaally play well together !
This one was sprayed with gold metallic, and no plastic bag was used. I happened to like where the SPiT took it, so I simply let dry. When the Unicorn SPiT is completely dry {and please do allow}, I brushed on a coat of polyurethane to seal, and give it some SHINE !
More cool stuff coming out of the SHOP every week at D'vine D'signs ! You can count on it all having a little SPiT and polish !!!

Yesssss!!! I’ve been wanting to try this stuff for awhile now .(specifically for glass) because I saw it on Pinterest! I have one of those lights in the bedroom that hangs from a chain so you can drop/place it wherever you want....except the globe we have that goes over the bulb is already painted like a huge baseball. Ha! My plan was to use Unicorn Spit and attempt to transform it into looking like “just another fluffy paper ball” hanging from my little girl’s ceiling...except this one lights up and preferably, right above her little reading/hideaway nook. Of course, I haven’t tried it yet (because I’m a big chicken and afraid to screw it up) so until then? I live vicariously through all the talented peeps on here and other platforms.🤷🏻‍♀️
