A Floating Bookshelf

In an effort to add a little drama and much needed storage my Husband and I came up with this floating bookshelf that gives the house a little more character.
This was a more advanced project that involved power tools and time. My Husband handled the construction and I did the spackling, painting, and decorating.
It also added a faux hallway to the 2nd bedroom.
4 1x3's for the framing, sheetrock,4 shelf brackets, tape, spackle, paint and trim. If we used clear shelving we would have added lighting.
Paint color was from Modern Family Dunphy home palate.
