Get the Gray and White Chippy Look on Your Old Furniture

Sue had an old white dresser with plastic handles. Not anymore!
Now she has a trendy distressed look in white and gray with black undertones.
I used a black spray primer on the drawer fronts and on the dresser edges.
Then I used an old candle to wipe on over the black in random places. This will be a resist and you can paint over it and then sand at the end.
So I painted two coats of gray over the black drawer fronts. Let dry. Sand with 150 grit sandpaper. You can always add paint back if there is too much chippy look.

Handles from Hobby Lobby
good storage, but needs help. No more plastic handles.
Wipe candle or vaseline over black paint before top coat gray.
