Pallet Projects to Inspire Plus Tips for Dismantling Pallets

Pallets! Oh, how I wish I knew then what I know now. WHY didn't I scoop up some of these gems when I had the chance? Because they are so difficult to dismantle-at least that's what I thought... but now I know the secret!
I spotted these pallets at a local neighborhood hardware store. I knew I should probably only use HT (heat treated) pallets, and they were not the ones on top of the stacks. I also know my limits with a bad shoulder so I passed on them. BIG mistake!

It took me about 4 minutes to dismantle this pallet.
I love the variety of the wood I collected from this pallet. I believe this pallet had already been repurposed because there were some boards with nail heads where the original nails had already been cut off.
I haven't made anything with those boards yet, but I've collected some great projects from my friends that will inspire you.
