Upgrading Windows With Casing

During our home office renovation, we took on a simple project (relative to the other office projects that is!) that made a huge difference. We framed the windows, which was a cheap and didn't take a ton of time.
A framed window adds a polished look to the room, more so than we thought it would. There are two windows in the office and before we added casing they were a little underwhelming.
The process was simple: measure, cut, liquid nails, nail gun. We installed the window stool...
Top molding...
Side frames and apron below the stool...
and added trim at the end to finish it off.
Finally we puttied and sanded all the nail holes, and caulked the seams. We finished the frames with white paint and couldn't be happier with this several hour project.
Head over to thinkcreaterenovate.com for all the details on the installation process!
