Lampshade Update

Biscuits & Burlap
by Biscuits & Burlap
2 Hour Redo cost next to nothing, was fun and changed the look of the room. I used only a yard or so of decor fabric from Joann's. I'm ready to do this to every lamp in my house now.
Here's what I ended up with.
Here's what I started with. To get the curve right I made a pattern on craft paper, adding about 1/2 inch top and bottom to turn under and about an inch at the end to make the seam.
Pin the pattern to the fabric and cut it out.
Spray the wrong side of the fabric with this stuff.
Roll your lampshade along the fabric, smoothing as you go. It's a little touchy to get going just right, but you can start over and reposition if needed.
Roll the edges under and press into place.
It's as easy as that! My bedroom before....
And after!
