You're in LUCK!! You are just in time to add a little 'green' to your St. Patrick's Day decor...Make this super-easy DIY ribbon garland!
All the sources for this project including more AMAZING springtime inspiration is available at: Blue Ribbon Kitchen Blog
30 minutes --that is all the time it took to tie on the ribbons and hang up this festive St. Patrick's Day garland.
Needed Supplies: twine, assorted ribbon (complimentary or in the same color family) and scissors.
I chose this assortment to add a little green to our St. Patrick's Day decor.
Cut a piece of twine the length needed for where you plan to use the garland...remember to leave a little extra at the ends for tying. Using an 8 inch piece of ribbon, make a loop in the middle.
Pull the ends of the ribbon through the loop.
Pull the ribbon ends down.
Give a gentle tug to secure the ribbon in place. (The ribbons will still be movable on the twine to adjust) Repeat the process, tying on the other ribbon colors in a pattern.
Trim all the ribbon to the same size.
All that's left to do, is to hang up the garland!
Thanks so much for stopping by!!
