TV Cabinet to China Cabinet
by

(IC: homeowner)
I love to save old furniture! So when my brother was getting rid of his old TV cabinet, I knew that I could make it into something useful. I love this new china cabinet in my dining room!
The doors of the cabinet slide back inside.
I needed to build a free standing shelving unit.
Since the shelves are quite wide, I used my new Kreg tool to attach two boards.
Some chalk paint and stencils finish the look.
The drawer is lined with fabric.
Enjoyed the project?

I really love this idea, and I did something very similar in my kitchen to hide my microwave and toaster oven and also to store extra bakeware and things that wouldnāt fit anywhere else. I got the cabinet for $100, painted it with chalk paint and bought the little details from amazon and painted those and glued them on. It has a ton of storage....glad to see others doing a similar thing...
