Hanging Indoor Herb Garden

I am notorious for killing plants so because of that and my hatred of all bugs, I don’t do much any gardening.
Now that Spring is officially here it’s time for me to put my big girl panties on and step up my plant game. But before I go to Home Depot and drop my whole paycheck on plants I’d most likely end up killing, I figured it would be best to start on my green thumb skills with a mini indoor herb garden.
Corey and I recently made over this little corner in the kitchen, it gets a ton of sun throughout the day so it’s the perfect spot for herb growing. I found this metal spice rack at Creme de la Creme and the terra-cotta pots are from Home Depot, but most craft stores sell them as well.
After I found the spice rack, I needed to pick out some herbs and since this spice rack isn’t that large and in charge I was a little limited to how many herbs I could get.

Which is fine, I’m a plant killer so I need to start small anyways.

Cilantro and basil were easy choices; I crave Mexican food at least once a week and Margherita pizza is my jam. I love lemon water so I thought having some mint to add to that would be pretty tasty and the smell of rosemary cooking smells awesome.
I’m not sure if I’m having beginners luck or something but it’s been about a month now and I have yet to kill these guys!

So what do y’all think? Anyone else a serial plant killer?
