What to make with that old bed that you've bed carrying around...
Place the headboard and footboard the distance you want. Since the ground was so hard, we hammered rebar into the ground and slid the bed frame over it for stability. This stuff is tough and broke two drill bits at first before we decided on rebar.
After tree trimming this past fall, we saved the longest branches to use over for projects. Perfect for the side rails which we never had...We drilled holes thru the branches and secured with stakes (used camping stakes we had laying around)
Added potting soil, rocks on the end for a natural look and 2 packets of wildflower seed. Cant wait for it all to start growing!
Enjoyed the project?
Suggested materials:
- Wrought Iron Bed (From a yard sale many years ago)
- Recycled branches (fall trimming)
- Potting soil
- Wildflower Seed
- Tent stakes (Lying around and never used extras)

Phillipcardjr on Apr 15, 2016Nice play on words . Interesting. With some modification in the fall it will work for a halloween prop if you are in to that.
