In Love With Hydrangeas

Don't be a hater but honestly...these things just keep growing and sprouting! I really don't do anything to them! Most are the Endless Summer hydrangeas but the original two are the old fashioned kind that need to be cut back yearly. It really is a showstopper of blooms and I consider myself very lucky! Thought you might want to see how pretty they are! There are some more pics on the blog too plus some from last year if you care to visit!

Lorraine F on Jun 26, 2014Ill refer this to Douglas Hunt....remember, I made the disclaimer that I make no effort with these things at all....just the right combo of soil, sun, water I guess! I would think about if anything has changed around the hydrangea.....cut down a tree? Plant something nearby? Change watering habit? Etc.......even so, I think if it is still healthy looking, it will happen. My neighbor has hydrangeas 200 ft from mine and they never bloomed....suddenly, this year, they are loaded. Mine are 10 yrs old. Doug will know.......he knows everything! LOL

Rosa Marie on Aug 01, 2014My leaves get brown specks on them. Does anyone know why? Should I fertilize at all? Thanks.
