Dresser Chalk Paint Makeover

I was looking for a dresser for my daughter's room and stumbled on this dresser for $50 on craigslist. It was well built and perfect for my project. My daughter loves bright colors and picked out a yellow chalk paint for the redo!
I cleaned the dresser and removed all the drawers before starting to paint. With a paint brush, I covered the dresser with 2 coats of Yellow Folk Art chalk paint that I bought from Joann Fabrics.
Paint the drawers and then lightly sand around corners and edges to distress the paint a bit. If you want to apply some clear wax to provide protection and some shine, apply a small amount and buff it after it dries.
I bought some new iron hardware from Hobby Lobby and mixed 2 kinds, some with knobs and others are handles.
Now it's a whole new dresser with new style! It still has the great bones of a good dresser which I appreciate... and my daughter loves the yellow! Check out my blog for the full tutorial.
