Wicker Wedding Direction

When I found it next to an apartment dumpster it was a wicker headboard that had had the legs cut off. But I saw promise
I painted it several coats of white paint. First spray paint, which gave broad coverage and therefore encouragement. But it didn't get into all the crevices, so I got out a long bristle paint brush and some homemade chalk paint.
I gave it a trial run over my bed, as it had the same rustic, country look.
Quickly, though, I went back to the original concept. I took a picket that I removed from a gate my neighbours were going to haul to the dump. Scrubbed and painted it and hung it from the hearts.
I applied some letters to make it more welcoming... If I were to do it again, I would have made them black instead of rose coloured, but maybe that's just me. I think it would be fun directional sign for a wedding, engagement, anniversary or Valentine's party or just about any kind of gathering..
