3 Materials

After having breast cancer survivor, I am more cautious about the chemicals we use in our house. I know, it is impossible to eliminate all chemicals, but if I can, I try to substitute gentler cleaning products in exchange for harsh chemicals. I figured out a way to clean my washing machine without using toxic chemicals.
Start with a bottle with a mixture of 1/2 water 1/2 vinegar.

You use as much as you want just sprinkle it on. It is used as an abrasive to scrub. Like toothpaste or Comet cleanser. Just smells better.

Front load washers get NASTY down here in FLaDuh. I use vinegar to clean mine often. Also useful is leaving the door open when not in use.
