Dollar Store pumpkins are great because they are.... well $1. They are not the most attractive faux pumpkin out there but jazz them up a bit and they can be amazing!
The Dollar Store pumpkins are small and made out of styrofoam. They usually have a seam right down the middle of the pumpkin that I don't find appealing so I decided to use different methods to cover them up!
All you need for your jute pumpkin is:
Start at the stem of the pumpkin and place some E6000 around the stem. Then start wrapping the pumpkin. Apply the E6000 as needed.
You will want to keep the jute wrapped tightly with no gaps. I love the look of this but decided it needed something extra so I glued on an old skeleton key.
Enjoyed the project?
Suggested materials:
- Pumpkin (The Dollar Store)
- Jute, E6000, skeleton key (Michaels Arts and Crafts)
