Wood Canisters Turned Jack-O-Lanterns

You just never know what you are going to find at the thrift store do you?! These wood canisters that I found made the perfect Jack-O-Lantern treat holders.
Last year I found two of these wooden canisters and, as with most things I scoop up, I didn't know exactly what I would do with them.
Here are the steps that turned a couple of outdated canisters into the perfect Halloween treat holders;
It is honestly that simple.

And when you're hunting up something for your Jack-O-Lanterns... be on the look out for some cute glass jars. These ones, painted the same way as the canisters, make the perfect little addition to my Fall decor. Just slip an electric tea light inside and they glow all night long.
