9 Talented Gardeners Share Their Fall Planting Tips

It is fall. For some, that means putting the garden to bed. For others, it means thinking ahead to next spring, and for a lucky few, it means extending the vegetable harvest a couple more months.
I asked my gardening buddies in the Garden Charmer Facebook group to share their fall gardening tips and they came up with a wide variety of ideas, ranging from seed saving to braiding garlic.
The images below link to the round up and to each of the articles. There are many more tips than those shown in the photos below so be sure to check them out!

I couldn't get the article to open but I jave a question. I have 500 bulbs to plant everything from tulips daffodils to glags and lillies. Do I wait till fall to plant the tulips and daffodils or plant them all now?

What zone are you in??? 500 bulbs will take a bit of time, but the bulbs "clocks" vary.

    I planted...and never harvested ... garlic 3 yrs ago....grows like crazy....can i harvest now....

  • normally garlic is planted in the fall and harvested in the spring but if it has been growing you should be able to dig some up to see.
