Paint Brings Bling to This Dated French Provincial Dresser

I love stencils! This dresser is old and I just did not like the way the drawers looked just painted white...So i decided to try something new.
Painted body "waverly silver lining color".
I have discovered raised stenciling, so I decided to do this technique using a lace curtain on the drawers. I used Wood Icing as my medium to place over the lace curtain. It really gave it a cool effect Painted drawers white (general finishes) and used GF Pearl Effects Champagne Pearl to help it sparkle!
Top and sides-I used a lace curtain to get the lace stencil design.

How did you adhere the lace to the dresser to be able to add the raised look? I have a dresser and highboy pure white and I love this design the first I have seen that I truly love.

How would you stain and get the lace effect?

I'm not sure...I guess the same way you did with the paint. I would stain it solid first and then do the lace effect with a different color stain over it. I really haven't thought it through yet. lol
