I found the Americana Decor Crackly Medium to work perfectly for this project. E-6000 and some simple clamps made the structure impossibly sturdy.
Enjoyed the project?

My second thought right after WOW is: This would make a great 4 sided lantern or even a luminaria??? Love it. I live in the desert SW and am starting an indoor planter of cactus plants. This is a perfect complement.
