I wanted a Mountain Cabin look on my suburban home this Christmas...so I found a vintage snow shoe and made a "wreath"!

I found this old, WWII military-issue snow shoe earlier this year at a vintage shop. It was the right price for a Christmas idea I had in mind, so I snapped it up!
To create a front door "wreath", I first gave it a non-permanent bow. Click HERE to find out the secret crafting ingredient! Because it's such a cool piece of history, I didn't want to alter it any way!
Next, I gathered some vintage Christmas cards and clipped them to the leather laces. I LOVE vintage Christmas cards, but modern cards, old holiday postcards, or printables on cardstock would do just fine.
But, it needed one more thing, wouldn't you say? I had a pretty good idea of what it needed to finish it off!
A little greenery to top it off! I used natural pieces from my yard (does it count as yard work??) but faux greens would be perfect, too.
