Mirrored Mustard Dresser

Sarah Trop
by Sarah Trop
Bring the outside in by painting an old dresser a bright color yellow. And don't you just love the mirror?
One of our customers had us makeover this dresser for her guest bedroom. Can you see that little original detailing on the top drawer? Zoom on in and check it out. Well, I just couldn’t paint over it. I wanted to find a way to incorporate that into the design.
We ended up painting the whole thing Benjamin Moore’s Glen Ridge Gold 301. We also distressed and glazed this piece with Valspar’s Antiquing glaze. If you’d like to see how we paint furniture, please check out our How To Paint Furniture pos at FunCycled.com.

I know - I think we all shy away from yellow but I'm loving it lately! Thanks for the feedback!
