Old Doesn't Mean Old With SK
by
SK on Elderberry
(IC: professional)
This cracked old rocker found it's way to me,
Lots of dings and broken pieces. But the pretty carving was intact.
I fine sanded the entire piece after the glue was dry. I sanded finely abd cleaned. I brushed the entire rocker with a light red custom paint. I let it dry and sanded and dusted.
The colors I have chosen made me happy. I painted each section twice with sanding between coats.
I sanded one last time, dusted and clear paste wax. Dry and buff and repeat.
This oldy but goody is going to enjoy a summer of color on the front porch
Enjoyed the project?
