Farmhouse Style Coffee Table Makeover

I took this 90's style 2-tier coffee table and turned it into this fabulous Farmhouse-style coffee table. Follow the link below for full details.
By removing the second tier, I was able to use my miter saw (aff) to add this great design using 1x4 common boards stained with Minwax's Jacobean.
Lightly sanding the edges of the table with a sanding block.
Marking the table with an X to use as a cut guide.
The final result is eye-catching!
I love this pattern. I have to say, it looks even better in person. I started from the outside and worked my way to the inside square, making the cuts with my miter saw.
