I love to decorate for the holidays. What I do not love is storing a lot of stuff or spending gobs of money to do it. This year I figured out how to get around both of these issues.

I was eyeballing these beautiful brown speckled eggs I got at our local grocery and thought they would make a lovely addition to an Eastern table. I wanted to keep the table as neutral as possible so I went with a brown and white color pallet. I wanted to elevate the centerpiece a bit in some sort of footed bowl. I did not have a white one........so I Mcgyvered one!

These three pieces of random white servingware that I already owned turned in to my footed bowl.

next I carefully arranged the uncooled eggs all the way around the small pitcher taking care to show the maximum speckles on the pretty eggs. I filled the pitcher with artificial hydrangia from an old wreath.

Long story short, for the price of two dozen extra large brown store bought eggs I have a beautiful Easter table to enjoy!

Not to mention eggs to use/eat:). Beats storing or throwing away a bunch of stuff, right? You can read about the entire project here.
Suggested materials:
