DIY Wood Coasters
You'll think twice before burning your pretty logs!!!
All you need is a log and a miter saw or hand saw. (don't forget to wear safety glasses and take all safety precautions) If you have no experience using a miter saw please get expert help or you could always turn to the good old fashioned hand saw.. Although I can't say how long that would take. To see what thickness I chose click here. These cost me $0 because I had everything on hand. Now..you can't beat that.
How cute is that? I am in love with how effortlessly trendy it looks. Mother Nature never fails to amaze me. This is a project that requires minimal effort and will last you for years to come.
Sanding the top and bottom is totally optional or you could leave it rustic chic. I left mine rustic. I decided not clear coat the top. The less toxic the better. Right?
