Spray Chalk paint makes projects fast, easy and you still get that matte, chalk paint finish
The only prep work I did on this piece was removing the hardware. No sanding, nothing. I just started painting!
Two coats completely covered this piece (the shaded areas inside are just shadows -- the coverage was complete and smooth!)
After painting, I distressed and waxed with both clear and dark wax then buffed to a nice, smooth finish.
Spray chalk paint (I used Rustoleum Chalked) made this SUCH an easy piece to tackle and it adhered just like regular brush on chalk paint with no sanding or priming.
Spray chalk paint is definitely worth trying!
