Getting there! It's been months... so want this done! tile work around the shower (again, my design) to pull everything together. Found this awesome Bluetooth exhaust fan, a splurge but wow it sounds incredible, the fan is strong but very quiet. Also a new exhaust fan with LED light in the shower, after the mold issue prior I wanted to be sure that moisture wasn't a problem. There was no light in the shower before, and the previous owners had a plexi panel enclosing the top over the doors (they called it a "steam shower", yeah right) so it was dark too, not good. Kohler frameless shower doors, beautiful nickel hardware to match the other accessories. We had a wall-mounted heated towel rack already I cannot live without my heated towels and it was already brushed nickel so that went back up. a new receptacle will be added so the cord will be eliminated. A lot of little final touches and it's back in business! SO HAPPY!!!
tile around the shower
Bluetooth exhaust fan!
New frameless/nickel doors in!
New baseboard cover!
New Kohler toilet, water-saver, chair height. Had to go with the round bowl as the space is limited.
nickel accessories, new Price-Pfister 4-way shower head and faucet handle
Spray-painted the new switch-plate. Timer switch for shower exhaust fan/light combo. Separate switches for vanity lights and Bluetooth exhaust fan
more nickel accessories
All the fixtures and shower doors are Koehler, finished project took five months, weekends only. Expenses were all materials only, we did all the work (my nephew installed the plumbing fixtures).
Enjoyed the project?
