I built this rustic decorative ladder as fall decor. This will be an inter-changeable ladder!! Here's how I made it with a little help from my husband.
First, I had my husband cut the wood to the pieces I needed. (I wanted to create a seasonal decorative item, but this can also be used as a blanket/towel rack.)
I then placed the pieces to where it would like them. I decided to place the pieces on an angle rather than straight across. It looks good!
I then nailed the pieces together to create the ladder. After that, I began to cut out my decorations, I chose to make a Chalk Board sign so I can use it for all Holidays, I also cut out a pumpkin, and a leaf for my decorations. I painted the chalkboard with chalkboard paint and wrote out my message with chalk. I painted the other items with paint.
Here is the ladder after all the pieces were dry, and placed onto the ladder. And this is my finished product!! It is now decorated for Fall and can be changed up for other seasons/holidays as well! I hope you like it!
