Sometimes I’m lazy when I create. I get an idea and I just have to do it - no running to the store, no glue, no new paint, etc. Just do it! That was how I did this wreath! No glue. No staples. No floral foam. I did pick out a few floral picks and ribbon for this wreath last year. I even used live greenery from my backyard. So I was able to recreate it this year also. Totally reusable & redoable.
I had a grapevine wreath laying around. I used 5” burlap ribbon from Hobby Lobby. I wrapped the ribbon half way around the wreath and just tucked it in on the back side.
Next I took the greenery and stuck it in the wreath, pointing upwards & downwards leaving a center spot flat.
I took a bling silver ball floral pick, tucked it in near the center of the greenery. Then spread the branches out both ways.
Next I attached the bow I made to the center of the greenery, with light gauge wire, just wrapped around the wreath and twisted it in back.
You could also add some red berry picks. I decided I liked it better without the berries.
Here’s my finished wreath on my wall!! I love the rustic look with a little bit of metallic bling added!!
I will post a tutorial for the bow also.
