When we moved into our home, I knew that I wanted to give our plain ol' white door some TLC. I truly believe that the color of your front door can say a lot about the style on the inside of your home, so I wanted to choose the absolute perfect color.

After months of thinking about various colors...black, navy, yellow...I settled on the perfect light blue color.
Here's my plain white door. It's just begging for some color!
I decided to go with the color "Covington Blue" by Benjamin Moore. It's the perfect light blue/teal color and it went great with the red brick on the outside of our home.

This is what it looks like after one coat. Not nearly enough for full coverage, so we had to do 2 coats of paint.
Here it is all done! It really brightens up the entire outside of our home and instantly improved our curb appeal.
Plus, I even painted the INSIDE of the door too! I love how the bright blue pairs with our neutral color palette and large gray couch. It adds a cheery touch to the otherwise very neutral space.
