Looking for an easy project to hold your win glasses? This took about an hour to do and does the job.
Found some scrap 2x6 pieces in my garage. Pulled out my miter saw, drill, found some screws leftover from other projects (8], pencil and I used some small scrap wood to put some sand paper around and went to work. Under my kitchen cabinet measured 1”, so I wanted some of the wine glass holder to show which is why I chose the 2” thick wood. I cut 6 1.5” x 5” sections, drew and “L” shap line on the side of each block and cut them out on each section. This was the only tricky part but once cut I sanded down to make sure each piece was the same thickness on side and bottom. Once complete I glued the two middle pieces together and clamped until dry. Once dry I coated with weather sealant to protect wood. Drilled two holes in each section. I then installed used the cabinet. This project is scalable...so sizes can be changed depending on need! Enjoy!
