Spring is on the way and flowers are on their peak! Bring a stylish touch of spring on the table with handmade napkin rings that are full of blooming flowers and in contrast to the white napkins. Match the natural cotton cord, used to make the rings, with the aluminium made flowers in a vivid blue shiny color and decorate a table for a special moment.
Cover a 1 ¾in tube with a non-stick surface (or baking paper). Wrap around it the cotton cord in a width of 1 ½in and cover it with acrylic texture paste (alternatively a PVC glue will work well). Repeat to the number of napkin rings required and let them dry well before removing them.
Die cut aluminium flowers using the medium and small flower dies. 1 medium and 4 small for each ring.
Cover the medium and half of the small flowers with the StazOn Ultramarine ink and the help of a sponge dauber.
Create lines on the petals of the flowers with the irRESISTible Pico embellisher using the Wedding dress color on the blue flowers and the Danube blue on the aluminium ones.
Place dots in the center of the flowers with the Amplify! White and heat them with a heat gun. The heat will cause the medium to expand.
Arrange the position of flowers to be used on the ring and attach them on petals sides with the On Point Glue.
Cut a 25in cotton cord and make a couple of loops. Glue on the cotton ring and then place the flowers.
If you don't own a die cutting machine, you can use a flower design punch and minimize the cost.

Frequently asked questions
Have a question about this project?
Beautiful but you lost me with the die cutting. Must need special tools?
When you say aluminum, what and where do you get this product. I assume you are not talking about aluminum foil. LOL
If this isn't a silly question, you've arranged the flowers beautifully but how do you get them to stick in a line like that? Do you glue them together (it doesn't look like it on the picture)? Thanks
