Bring a little bit of Paris into your home with your very own fun to make, but slightly downsized, Eiffel Tower, fashioned from a garden plant trellis. Paint, lace and tape add architectural details. Perfect for the lover of all things french or french inspired parties- Bastille day perhaps?
Add a little Joie du Vivre to your day with a DIY Eiffel Tower from basic garden and craft supplies
This trellis by Garden Treasures, from Lowes was the perfect shape and it was on sale! Magnifique!
lace edging, tape and inspiration photo
plastic canvas cut to shape adds details, lace mimics the tower's intricate ironwork
metallic spray paint gives a nice sheen. Add quick accents with craft paint
add a festive plaque celebrating the 1889 worlds fair for which the tower was built
Display inside with French inspired accessories

My eight year old granddaughter is all about Paris right now. If I can find the stuff for it, I think I'll make one for her.

Thanks so much Eloise! Your home sounds lovely! This project was lots of fun to put together - I've been to Paris a few times (thanks to husband's travel points lol) and just love it but it's been a long while now. Merci!
