  • You might want to try peppermint oil, It's really good on pest control without all the harsh chemicals that's on the market. It's also a good idea to keep your entire wall molding throughout your house sprayed at least once a month, critters can't tolerate the smell and won't cross it. Hope it works for you dear.

Can you see evidence of termites ? Has someone told you that is the problem? Based on the damage happening in your description I think you need to call in a reputable contractor who could inspect and tell you exactly what is happening and what you need to do to fix it. It could be that your foundation is crumbling, or termites, or both. Don't wait. Call someone right away. Hopefully it will be an easy fix, but you need to act right away. You are beyond peppermint oil. Best wishes, and let us know if we can help further.

Twi- are you renting or do you own the house? I am so sorry to hear you are having to move, but I also know how hard it is to be on a limited income. And most insurance will not cover termite damage. You are better off and safer to find another place to call home. Please let us know how you are doing and that you are ok.

Wow thats some serious termite damage, you will need to treat the termites, and then start replacing the damaged structure. If termites are a constant problem where you live, you might consider replacing the structural posts with steel posts vs wood. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=amK2edm20ss

We have natural pest exterminators here who use natural insecticides vs the chemical pesticides.

You need to call a professional exterminator right away!! Have them inspect and treat your home and then have a contractor come and look at the damage. Termites can destruct a home quite quickly. You may also have damage from water to the floor joists if they are that close to the ground.
