Had very brown imperfect grouted fireplace. Cleaned fireplace with a scouring pad and liquid bleach vim. Rinse thoroughly. Let dry. This is what it looks like so far with the first coat of BBQ paint on it. I even ended up evening the grout lines. Even my hubby was impressed and he hates when I paint over stoneworks. I plan To do a second coat tomorrow. I always keep a small container of BBQ paint at home in case one of the kids/grand kids/ hubby mars it.
