Barn Quilt Sign Made From Old Wood !!
by

(IC: homeowner)
We have taken several pallets apart and used their wood for different projects. They can either be sanded to reveal their hidden grain or kept "rustic"!!
We then measured out the boards to be 3 feet in length and cut them accordingly. We also put enough boards side by side to equal 3 feet in width. We secured them on the backside with an extra piece of pallet wood. I then drew a "Quilt Design" on the boards with a pencil and began to paint. This design is called "Father's Choice". I used Frog Tape to keep the paint from bleeding over into another color.
After all the paints were dry, I used "Spar Urethane" to coat the wood to make it waterproof and weather resistance!
We then mounted it on the side of a Log Home in the Mountains!
